As of next week, I will start my new job at Home Depot. Finally going to have a steady paycheck! I’m so excited! I can finally save up for all the things I need. As for the things I want, those might take a loooooong time. But still, feels great to finally be accepted into the real world.
Another subject of happiness is me and my girlfriend are nearing our one year anniversary. I’m so happy with her. I cant imagine spending a single day without her. Seeing her smile, etc, etc. I wont bore you with mushy stuff, but I never had a girl I could blare Tenacious D in the car and sing along with her, there are hundreds of other reasons I love this girl, but I can’t blog about them without risking a huge inflow of mushy nonsense. Its just simply amazing having her in my life.
I also got to start selling my art at the Farmers market for the year. It will be every Saterday. It’s been a really rewarding experience. Up until now my art has just been sitting around my house and on my computer only being seen by a handful of people. Now its not only being seen, but bought. People want my art in their houses or businesses. That feeling alone is enough to keep doing it, but on top of that the comments and inspiration I get bring a smile to my face. My favorite moment so far has to be when a little girl wanted bookmark with one of my skulls on it. Her mother asked her if she would rather have the unicorn or the fairy one, but she excitedly stated that she wanted the skull one. I couldn’t help but laugh.
For the first time in a long time, I’m happy.
